A Message From Rachel,

“You are imperfect, you are wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.”
Brené Brown

I believe healing grows out of feeling understood and supported. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you can be yourself, curious, overwhelmed, hopeful, or anything in between. In our work together, we explore your thoughts, emotions, and the experiences that shape you, allowing you to reconnect with yourself in meaningful ways.

I am especially passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, family stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. I approach therapy with warmth and collaboration, inviting clients to move at a pace that feels safe and empowering. Whether you’re working through a specific struggle or simply needing a place to breathe and make sense of things, I’m honored to walk alongside you.

About Rachel…

Rachel Snyder earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Auburn University in 2023 and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Alabama. Rachel has experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, and veterans across community and clinical settings.

Her therapeutic work is relational and integrative. Rachel draws from person-centered therapy, emotion-focused approaches, family systems principles, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to meet each client’s unique needs. She also incorporates elements of somatic experiencing to help clients tune into the body’s wisdom and develop a greater sense of grounding and regulation.

Rachel is committed to helping clients, both in-person and in virtual sessions, to build resilience, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical tools that support long-term growth and well-being.

Outside the therapy room, Rachel enjoys spending time with her dogs, family, and friends, as well as traveling, listening to music and audiobooks, and creating handmade crafts.
